Our new executives will be putting together a neat little “Do It Yourself” (DIY) tutorial, showcasing cheap and easy photography tricks and products that you can replicate by yourself at home!
Not enough?
We will do Aqueous photography. Not only, you will learn something new about the emerging genre of photography but also, we will PERFORM IT LIVE and LET YOU TAKE PHOTOS and apply tips and tricks discussed during the tutorial.
You can also bring your cameras along and try out some of our DIY and Aqueous photography during the tutorial. Don’t forget to bring your tripod to get sharp photographs.

Give it up for the new President!
On 8th November 2019, Christopher Cunio stepped down as the President of UNSW PhotoClub and ended a 3 year legacy. Chris joined PhotoClub 4 years ago as a Communications Manager and soon enough had the chance to become President. Chris had a huge impact towards the well-being of the club, he devoted most of his time for the betterment of PhotoClub and ensured that the club is on the right track. With his innovative policies and ideas the club started to rise. From 200 members to 600+ members in 2019, from almost an empty inventory to a fully stacked equipment inventory, there are countless achievements that Chris achieved during his tenure at PhotoClub. UNSW PhotoClub would like to express its deepest gratitude to Chris for his exceptional accomplishments and sacrifices and wish him the best for his future endeavors. However, Chris will still be part of the club as Treasurer and feel free to contact him or have a chat after events.
P.S. It’s Chris here, just proof reading this newsletter. Thank you so much for your surprise nice comments! It has been an absolute pleasure to be President and I look forward to next year!
Izzaldin Soerono (Dante) will be taking over Chris as President of UNSW PhotoClub from the year 2020. Dante has been a part of PhotoClub for the last 1.5 years and has been an executive member since early this year. Dante was the Competitions Coordinator and was exceptional and efficient in his duties. He has always been really keen to help our behind the scenes. Apart from that Dante is a second-year Commerce student and he usually likes taking wildlife and landscape photos during his many travels, though he is exploring new areas like street and sports photography. In his free time, Dante would usually hit the gym, play social table tennis, or watch a variety of TV series from Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Friends to Patriot Act and Rick and Morty. Make sure to say Hi to him when you meet him next and welcome him as the new President of UNSW PhotoClub!
