Did you miss out on our term 1 portraiture tutorial? Did you want to learn more details about capturing models outside of the studio? Come along Week 8 Friday as we bring in an award-winning guest speaker and a model to show you how it’s done. Bring your cameras and afterwards you’ll also get the opportunity to take photos of the model as well :).

We’re almost at the end! Don’t miss out on PhotoClub’s last outing of this term! We’re heading to Sculptures!
Join us for the spectacular coastal walk (Sculpture by the Sea!) featuring the largest free public sculpture exhibition in the world. This year celebrates its 23rd anniversary with more than 111 sculptures by artists from 19 countries on display along the two-kilometre stretch between Bondi and Tamarama allowing you guys to take amazing, landscape, still life and portraiture shots!
We’ll be meeting at Tyree Building, UNSW at 1 PM to catch the bus to Bronte beach. We will start our walk from Bronte beach and head to Tamarama beach ending our walk at Bondi Beach.
Items to bring:
Camera
DSLR, MILC, Compact, Film, Mobile, as long as it takes pictures!
Comfortable and walking shoes
Opal card
Tripod

Jervis Bay Road Trip!

At the end of this year, we’ll be heading to Jervis Bay after finals are over. Get on the road and end the year with a bang! Famous for having the whitest, pearliest beach in the world, complete with dolphin pods swimming around all year and the occasional whale spotting, it’ll a road trip to remember!
We’ll be going kayaking and dolphin watching as well as passing by many photography hot spots – including Helensburgh tunnels if they’re open and weather permits! We also hope to do some sunset & astrophotography!
Grab your best mates (non-PhotoClubbers welcome) and be quick, there’s only a few spots left!
