Week 9: Sports Photography with GeoSnapShot

As a photographer, we are constantly looking for ways to gain experience, have fun and provide people with joy from our photos. GeoSnapShot is a unique photography platform that enables any photographer to upload, share and sell their photos simply and with no upfront cost. Photographers using GeoSnapShot gain practical experience, wide audience exposure and the opportunity to make money from their hobby.
This week, we have a guest speaker, Andy Edwards from GeoSnapShot, PhotoClub’s new sponsor, talk and share his experiences from sports photography.

Week 9: No Outing this week
This week, there will be no PhotoClub outing. However there are events happening in the city during the midsem break that you may want to go to and experience. These events are:
- The Sydney Fringe Festival – The Sydney Fringe celebrates the cultural heart of Sydney. It is varied, quirky, exceptional, fun, moving, inspiring and informative. - Willoughby Spring Festival – The Willoughby Spring Festival features theatre, art, music and film. The festival will celebrate culture and community with special events for kids and adults alike. - Surry Hills Festival 2014 – The Surry Hills Festival returns this Spring for one fabulous celebration in and around Ward Park and Shannon Reserve, Crown Street, Hill Street, laneways, pop up spaces, and many great venues and creative outlets across Surry Hills. USYD Photosoc Competition:
USYD Photosoc is holding a photography competition where the winning photos will be shown in an exhibition. The inspiration is Alice’s trip down the rabbit hole.
Submissions close 5pm Monday 29th September and the exhibition will be held on Thursday 2nd October.
