Ever wanted to take aesthetic photos of people, but never known how? Well come along to our portrait photography tutorial this Friday, where we’ll be teaching you some tips and tricks behind the daunting task of taking photos of people, and then you can start practicing immediately! We will also be conducting a live Lightroom demo as well as a practical element to help you guys solidify the knowledge you will learn. We hope to see you all there!

Week 3 Photowalk: PhotoClub Goes To Cockatoo Island!

What’s up Photoclubbers! We’re back for another week of weekend outings, and this time we’re headed to cockatoo island! ?
This old penal jail as well as former industrial shipping yard is now one of Sydney’s most famous landmarks, boasting breathtaking views of the entire of Sydney Harbour. It is also a haven for you to practice or try out your urbex and portrait photography as the entire island is filled with old, empty industrial warehouses and soft lighting all around. We hope to see you all there!!
We will be meeting at Circular Quay, Wharf 5 to catch the 3:07pm ferry. We recommend catching the train to Wynyard and then changing to lines to then travel to Circular Quay station. Please DO NOT be late, as these ferries will not wait for us.
Please note that we will not be stopping for food, hence we recommend bringing a snack and drink to keep you fuelled for the walk until later when we have a proper meal.
Please keep an eye on the Facebook event on Saturday in case of wet weather.
