Hello everyone, it’s Fred, Iris and Damien here bringing you an update on the exciting newest edition of ‘Adventures with Photoclub’!
Instead of having our usual tutorial on Friday, we had our social event: Skyzone aka YAY TRAMPOLINES! We had some amazing air-time bouncing around while playing dodge ball, performing slam dunks and crashing into the foam pit. Even though our back-flipping skills and abilities to perform mad tricks could use some polishing, it was clearly a great opportunity to de-stress amidst all the exams and assignments!
All that jumping created an immense appetite for good food, and that’s when we promptly stopped over at Rock Brewery Co to have dinner. Amazing burgers and chips were had while we talked over drinks. Big thanks to those who came! 🙂
Just to take another step back from the mid-semester stress, on Saturday we headed south to La Perouse! We explored around the wind-swept Bare Island and encountered some magnificent seascape as well as the trypophobia-triggering holes on the rocks. As the dusk sailed into the surrounding water, we took a walk along the coastline where we chased after the sun, and the wind! What a way to unwind after a long week!
For those who have submitted to our Photobook, the top 10 of each category has been decided! We’d like to thank a few of our old executives for being on the judging panel: Andrew McIntyre, Norman Ma, Myles Kalus,Prugs Maini and Christian Bargholz. We are very grateful for your expertise😀 For those who are curious about the results, this Friday at the AGM, we’ll be announcing the top 3 of each category, as well as the prestigious award of Photographer of the Year. There will also be pizza to satisfy your cravings after a long day of uni! Please don’t forget to RSVP to our Facebook event (see the link below) if you’re coming! 😀
