Assessments getting you down? Put a spring in your step and join us for some high-flying fun at Skyzone this Friday!
We will be meeting at Skyzone Alexandria at 4:45pm for the 5:00pm session. For those of you leaving from Uni, Eileen will be waiting at the Gate 9 bus stop at 3:55pm to catch the 370. This bus leaves at 4:15pm so please don’t be late as the Skyzone sessions start on the hour, so unfortunately we can’t wait for anyone who may be running late.
If you wish to go directly to Skyzone, the nearest train station is Mascot Station. Travel there and then take a short walk to Skyzone Alexandria and find Damien.
Entry fee is $10 (to be paid online via sign-up form) and don’t worry, the entry fee includes socks! If you already own your special Skyzone socks, you only have to pay $8!
Things to bring:
● Lots of energy
● Bottle of water (non-compulsory but a good idea!)
There is also an optional dinner afterwards at Rocks Brewing Co., so please feel free to stick around afterwards and catch up with your fellow PhotoClub members.

Week 7 Outing: Chase the sun with Photoclub at La Perouse!

Has the change in seasons given you an itch in your shutter finger or a spring in your step? (See what I did there :P) Then say no more, as PhotoClub fulfils all your desires with our weekly outing headed towards La Perouse. You’ll be confronted by stunning landscapes and amazing vistas as we walk around Bare Island, La Perouse point and its various surrounding beaches. And to top it off, we’ll be sticking around to watch and capture the sunset.
We will be meeting at the steps to Town Hall (the building), and from there we will be catching the L94 bus from Museum Station, Liverpool St (Stand A) at 1556 to La Perouse. If you miss this specific bus time or wish to meet us at La Perouse directly, L94 services come every 10-20 minutes. La Perouse is the last stop on the line, so please disembark there. If you have trouble with directions, do not hesitate to contact us ☺
Some things to bring:
● Camera
● Tripod (Recommended for sunsets)
● Mobile
● Good walking shoes
● Bottle of water or a snack if you feel peckish
Please keep an eye on the FV event here on Saturday in the case wet weather.

Having problems submitting to our annual Photobook Competition or just unsure of which photos to submit? We’re giving you the opportunity to talk to us about it over coffee. Come down to Coco Cubano on Thursday after 3pm to chat to us about all of your concerns 🙂

Annual General Meeting (AGM)!

We will be conducting our AGM for our week eight event. The current President and Treasurer will give the 2015/16 presidential report and treasurer’s report respectively. There will be a vote for the 2016/17 Marketing Manager.
We will also be voting for the following constitutional change:
– The Communications Manager is to write and send out the weekly newsletters
A vote will also be held to retain the executive team elected during the EGM in week 4, semester 2, 2016.
