Put on your fancy frocks and pointed shoes because this week is all about portraiture and fashion photography! This Friday will be split into two parts the first hour (4-5pm) is portraiture photography (Open to PhotoClub members only), followed by a guest speaker (5-6pm) – see below for more details.
Portraiture is not just about technique and skill but its a combination of the right model and communication that delivers a seamless photograph. Xiaohan Shen Photography Talk (Friday)

We’re kicking off our first guest speaker talk of 2012 in style with one of Sydney’s finest fashion photographers, Xiaohan Shen.
Xssat is by Xiaohan Shen, fashion photographer, street style blogger and regular contributing photographer for Vogue.com.au. Born out of her love for photography and fashion in 2008, from its humble beginnings, Xssat has gone from strength to strength. More than 3 years on, Xssat has shot style setters Worldwide, from the side walks of London, New York, Paris, Sydney and more. Xssat is now Australia’s top street style blog and is Vogue.com.au’s regular street style photographer.

Model Workshop (Saturday)

Our model workshops are back again for 2012! This weekend we’ve organised the Model Workshop.
