Term 2 Week 7 Outing: Sunset & Long Exposure

Join us for a captivating photography experience where we will together capture the magic of Sydney, from the setting sun to the twinkling city lights with long exposure techniques! 

This guided photography event is a perfect platform for both enthusiasts and seasoned photographers to share their passion and explore Sydney’s most iconic landscapes through their lenses

We’ll start at Circular Quay Station, embarking on a picturesque walk along the coastline towards the Sydney Opera House. Here, we’ll capture the grandeur of the Opera House in clear daylight before continuing through the lush Royal Botanic Garden to reach the renowned Mrs Macquarie’s Point. At this iconic location, we’ll set up our equipment to take breathtaking long-exposure photographs as the sun dips behind the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge.

As twilight transitions into the blue hour, our journey will proceed along the scenic coastline, near the Art Gallery of NSW The evening’s illumination provides additional opportunities to experiment with various long exposure techniques. Our adventure will conclude at Martin Place, a short 10 minutes walk from the gallery.
