Want to start making videos, but don’t know the next step? Finding ways to enhance your video quality? Well, you’re in luck as we present another videography session to PhotoClub this year! As a continuation of our first VideoTalk, we’re going to discuss more advanced videography skills, including six major topics:
Story board
Multicamera
Lighting
Timelapse & hyperlapse
Livestream
Advanced colour grading (picture profile & lookuptable) Whether you’re a novice vlogger, an expert in the area, or simply want to learn a new skill to supplement photography, join us this Friday at 4pm on Zoom to get into the world of moving images and the future of social media!
Although we’ll be introducing new topics, we recommend watching the previous VideoTalk held in Term 2 2021 which covered the basic topics of videography.

Workshop A: Exposure
Date: Tuesday 21/09/21
Time: 5-6pm AEST
A simple introduction to how a camera works. We will cover aperture, shutter speed, and ISO and how to balance these basic components to take a good photograph.
Workshop C: Composition
Date: Thursday 23/09/21
Time: 4-5pm
This workshop covers all the major rules and guidelines of composition, which will assist you in turning nice photos into great ones. The compositional tools we look at include figure-to-ground, framing, viewpoint, perspective, and many more. We will also deconstruct some famous photographs to see what makes them so powerful.
