Vivid is back, as vibrant and as VIVID (heh) as ever! No matter if it is your first or x-time going to Vivid, there is always something new to see and shoot. So come and join us in admiring all the awesome exhibits on display before Vivid ends!
We will be meeting in front of the Maccas at Circular Quay at 7:00 PM sharp, do try to come early as traffic will not be pleasant (because it’s Vivid). We will not be stopping for food once in Vivid, so do grab a bite before coming.
Keep an eye on this event on Facebook on Friday in case of wet weather.
Items to bring could include:
- Camera – DSLR, MILC, Compact, Film, Mobile, as long as it takes pictures!
- Comfortable and walking shoes
- Opal card
- Tripod
*This event is open to 2019 PhotoClub members only (please bring your membership cards).

Workshops
Our workshops are designed for base skills – to teach all the basics about photography.
In week 2, we will begin running Workshop A – Exposure. This workshop is a simple introduction on how a camera works. It familiarises you with the exposure triangle, which includes aperture, ISO and shutter speed, and how to use the camera to manipulate them.
In week 3, Workshop B – Focus, will begin running. It will give you a complete breakdown of how a camera focuses, its different focus modes and how to use them to your advantage. We will also be covering some other basics including depth of field, dynamic range and white balance.
The workshop times will be posted in the UNSW PhotoClub 2019 Facebook group – join it here if you haven’t already!
