Let’s finish Semester 1 off with a bang, we’re heading to Vivid Sydney! Don’t miss out on the last event for this semester 😀

Sydney promises to have some great lights in store for us – This will be a great opportunity to practice all the techniques you’ve learned this semester as well, such as long exposure and motion photography, architecture and more!

We will be meeting at the Maccas at Circular Quay at 7:00pm – the closest station is of course Circular Quay itself.

Please note that we will not be stopping for food.

Please keep an eye on this Facebook event on Friday in case of wet weather.

Items to bring could include:

  • Camera (!!)
  • Tripod
  • Comfortable and warm clothes

This event is open to 2018 PhotoClub members only (please bring your membership cards).

PhotoDash!

Time: 9:30am for 10:00am start to 4:00pm (including a BBQ)

After last year’s award winning sell-out event, PhotoDash is back for 2018! Compete with each other in teams of 4 and rival other unis while scouring Sydney for pictures. Think of it as The Amazing Race, but with cameras and a few surprises thrown in here and there. If you have seen the Amazing Race on TV, you should have a good idea of what it’s all about.

For those who haven’t, teams will complete photographic challenges around the city, find clues and get to the finish line first. It will be a fun filled day where you can challenge your mind, body and photography skills, and it doesn’t matter what type of camera you have.
There will be prizes (up to $500) for:

  1. First Place (Team)
  2. Best Dressed (Team)
  3. Best Photo (Individual)

So what are you waiting for? Gather your friends, PhotoClub or not, and be the best dressed and fastest out there!!

Note: this event requires registration. Registration will open after exams. There is a participant limit so don’t miss out!
