Week 8 Tutorial: Macro Photography

In Week 12 we have a Macro Photography tutorial for you! Learn how to explore the world of the miniature. We will be covering both macro shooting tips and tricks as well as what equipment you’ll need. We even go over some more budget options for those trying to save. Join us for our tutorial on Friday to learn how to shoot bugs, flowers and all kinds of small. You’ll be amazed with what you and your camera can do!

Week 8 Pizza & Drink Night

We’re having a pizza night this week! It’s free pizza and drinks for all PhotoClub members. Grab a slice and use this time to have a chat with everyone!

**If there are any special dietary requirements, please comment them on the event page and we will do our best to cater; e.g. vegetarian, no cheese etc.

Week 8 Outing: Lavender Bay
Date: 29/04/2018

Location: Lavender Bay
For this week’s walk, we will be wandering along the scenic coastline of Lavender Bay and finishing at Blues Point Reserve that boasts some of the best unknown views of Sydney Harbour, along with a sunset over the city. Afterwards we will be heading towards Harts Pub so you can get a bite to eat as well as have a chat with those new friends you made on the walk 🙂
We will be meeting at Bradfield Park in Milsons Point, which is where the walk will also start. We recommend taking a train to Milsons Point station, where it is then a short walk to the destination.
Please note that we will not be stopping for food, and on account of us starting relatively late, we recommend bringing a snack and drink to keep you fuelled for the walk and until later when we will be having a proper meal.
Please keep an eye on the Facebook event on Saturday in case of wet weather.
Items to bring could include (but aren’t compulsory):

- Mobile
- Warm Clothes

Week 9 Social: Skyzone

Assessments getting you down? Put a spring in your step and join us for some high-flying fun at SkyZone this Friday!
We will be meeting at SkyZone Alexandria at 4:45pm for the 5:00pm session.
For those of you leaving from Uni, We will be waiting at the Gate 9 bus stop at 3:55pm to catch the 370. This bus leaves at 4:12pm so please don’t be late as the SkyZone sessions start on the hour, so unfortunately we can’t wait for anyone who may be running late.
If you wish to go directly to SkyZone, the nearest train station is Mascot Station. Travel there and then take a short walk to SkyZone Alexandria and find Us.
There is also an optional dinner afterwards at Rocks Brewing Co., so please feel free to stick around afterwards and catch up with your fellow PhotoClub members.
