Well yes, we are called ‘PhotoClub’ but surely that includes videography, right? Well it does now! We’ve seen some videos put up in the UNSW PhotoClub 2017 group and had some requests so we’ll be holding a videography tutorial next Friday!

We will be holding an EGM (Extraordinary General Meeting) during the week 4 tutorial. The agenda for the meeting is to have a re-election of the following senior executive positions: Secretary, Treasurer, Arc Delegate, Events Manager, Communications Manager.

We will go through the nominations received and then hold a vote to elect the new execs! If you wish to nominate yourself or somebody else, email us at president@unswphoto.com with an expression of interest.

Don’t worry, the EGM will be quick and we will still be holding our videography tutorial straight after.

As winter draws to a close, we are welcoming the arrival of spring with a night photography walk!! Our walk will feature the heavenly blue of the Kimber Lane angels, awesome architecture courtesy of the powerhouse museum and ends with a breathtaking view of the ANZAC Bridge from the picturesque Blackwattle Bay. We will additionally be bringing along props such as fairy lights, torches and sparklers for you guys to get creative with some light painting 😀 😀

We will be meeting at the Goulbourn St entrance to Chinatown at 6pm, where we will begin our walk with the blue cupids along Kimber Lane. The closest railway station is Central and then a short walk. The most convenient path to walk is first exit Central via Eddy Avenue exit, cross Belmore Park and walk towards Market City. Chinatown should be within the vicinity. If you are having difficulty making your way there, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Please note that we will not be stopping for food so we recommend bringing a snack or eating beforehand or afterwards.

Please keep an eye on the Facebook event on Saturday in the case of wet weather.
