Week 5 Tutorial: Film Photography!

Date: 31/03/2017
Time: 4:00pm – 5:30pm
Location: Central Lecture Block 5

Point of Contacts:
1. Christopher: +61 418 262 554
2. Edward: +61 479 198 123

PLEASE RSVP here via Facebook.

We once lived in a world that was analogue, one that was devoid of pixels, and one that was unknown or forgotten by most of us. Let us bring you back to simpler times, where film once ruled. You’ll discover the greatness of this medium and its origins and learn how to get started in our present day, where it still lingers. Come this Friday, to delve deeper into this long-lost art, and we’ll show you a whole new world.

*This event is open to PhotoClub members only (please bring your membership cards). If you have not signed up, you can do so at this event.

3. UTS – Daniel: 0403 849 287
4. UTS – Edwin: 0415 560 300

IMPORTANT: If you wish to meet us at Circular Quay instead of Watsons bay, meet us at wharf 2 at 2:10pm for a 2:35pm ferry to Watsons Bay. Please be prompt as the ferry will NOT wait.

Welcome one and all, to our first Uni inter-collab between UNSW PhotoClub and UTS PhotoSoc for 2017!

Over the years we’ve done many collabs – this time, we’re organising a photowalk at Watsons Bay, with prizes at the end ? Yep, you heard right, for the best three photos taken that day, we will be giving out prizes from our sponsor Georges.

Watsons Bay is one of the best unknown locations in Sydney to explore. Boasting sweeping views, it’s perfect for landscape photography. Amazing light and backdrops also make it perfect for portrait and nature photography. The walk will start at Watsons Bay Wharf and continue onto the Hornby Lighthouse.

To get there, we recommend catching the train to Circular Quay Station, and then catching the ferry from Circular Quay Wharf 2 to Watsons Bay. There will be one point of contact from each uni at both Circular Quay Wharf 2 and Watsons Bay Wharf if you need to contact or find us ?.

Please note that we will not be stopping for food, hence we recommend bringing a snack and drink to keep you fuelled for the walk until later when we have a proper meal.

Please keep an eye on this Facebook event on Saturday in case of wet weather.

Please RSVP here via Facebook.
Items to bring could include (but are not compulsory) are:
● Camera
● Tripod
● Mobile
*This event is open to PhotoClub members only (please bring your membership cards).
** If you don’t own a camera or would like to borrow the club’s camera please shoot an email to [email protected]
