Join UNSW PhotoClub for an evening of food photography with guest speaker and renowned food blogger Simon Park. Simon will be sharing his experiences in food photography and some tricks of the trade that will help you create mouth-wateringimages. Bring your cameras and your appetites, as you will have the opportunity to try out some of the tips you learn after the talk.
Simon Park began blogging in 2009 and has since been involved in a number of commercial and high-profile shoots, including being a photographic assistant for one of finalist photo of the 2010 SMH Shoot The Chef photography competition. He also runs food photography classes for both bloggers and non-bloggers. His blog, the heart of food (http://theheartoffood.com/) has been rated among the top 50 Australian food blog and regularly features delicious photos of food, recipes and restaurant reviews.

Week 5: Food Photography tutorial with Simon Park and BakeSoc!

So judging by Instagram, it’s clear that we all love food, especially taking photos of it! If you would like to know how to make your photos worthy of a cook book, come along and learn from the best! This is a public event so invite your friends to come along!
We are partnering with UNSW Baking Society, so we will have some awesome goodies to photograph and eat after!!

Simon has been published in Gourmet rabbit and has been involved with a number of commercial and private projects including the high profile SMH “Shoot the Chef” competition.
