This week, we will be giving you an insight to event photography. So what is event photography about? The term event photography covers a range of subjects – from photographing your best friend’s wedding to recording the perfect holiday celebration. We will cover the techniques that constitute the bare essentials of covering an event
We will be focusing on weddings and clubbing photography. We will also discuss equipment you need and how to overcome limitations when covering events. We will also discuss job opportunities as a event photographer and avenues to get into the business.
Open to UPA. Proof of membership required – PhotoSoc, Exposure and PhotoClub.

Critique & Pizza Night IV (Friday)

Location: Eora Exchange Student Lounge @ Central Lecture Block
Come join us to discuss your photos or anything about photography, enjoy some yummy pizza and lovely company. Drinks will be provided as well.
All attendees are required to submit at least a photo for the critique night. This will be viewed anonymously during the critique segment.
– Please email in the photo to us, or have it selected and ready on a thumb drive – it will be anonymous!
– 3 photos MAX. – this way we can be more efficient in getting through everyone’s photos.

Black and White Film Development (Saturday)
Date: Saturday , May 8th, 2010
Time: 1:00pm – 3:00pm (Or longer if necessary)
Location: Blanco Negro, Shop 4, 44-54 Botany Rd. Alexandria, NSW
Whether you’ve got a few rolls of film that need developing, or just want to learn-This workshop is for you. Learn how to develop black and white film by hand, the superior way. Chemistry and materials will be provided-just bring your own film!
