PhotoBook Competition 2018!

As previously announced, entries are NOW OPEN for our 9th Annual PhotoBook Competition!

Hopefully you have some great snaps for the holidays to submit, if not, you’ve still got some time!

CLOSING DATE: 23:59 Sunday 19th August 2018

SUBMIT BY 23:59 Sunday 12th August  (WEEK 3) for a chance to be featured in an Arts Week EXHIBITION!

The Annual PhotoBook celebrates the wonderful photos you guys have taken this year!

Submitting your photos not only gives you the chance to showcase your great work but also places you in the running for awesome prizes if you manage to win a category; and the person who submits the most stunning photo will be crowned UNSW PhotoClub’s Photographer of the Year!

Hundreds of dollars worth of prizes up for grabs!

A max of 2 photos can be submitted per category listed below, with a total maximum of 7.

Without further ado, the Seven Categories are:  

1. Portraiture & People
This category includes Fashion!

2. Landscapes & Architecture
Including Cityscapes, Nightscapes & Still Life

3. Nature &Animals
Wild and Domestic Animals

4. Abstract & Artistic
Includes Conceptual & Still Life (incl. Food!)

5. Black & White
As long as it is black and white you’re sweet!

6. Photojournalism, Street & Events
Sports, Fireworks, Performance and the Arts

7. Mobile Photography
Let your imagination go wild, as long as the photos you take are from a mobile (obviously!)

A max of 2 photos can be submitted per category listed above.

Prizes

  • One Photographer of the year prize and a copy of the 2018 PhotoBook
  • Seven Category prizes (including the Photographer or the Year)
  • Selected submissions included in the PhotoBook

Please read the attached terms and conditions before submitting to make sure you don’t get disqualified! There are several changes to submissions this year so please read them carefully.
